Dragon's blood is a natural plant resin substance that comes from a family of tropical trees known as dragon trees. Its name derives from its rich and dark red color. Dracaena draco, dracaena cinnabari, and dracaena cochinchinensis are just a few of the "dragon trees" from which dragon's blood extract can be obtained.

Evidence of its use has been found in the Middle East, China, India, Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome, dating back thousands of years. These peoples believed that the plant had various medicinal properties, but only in recent years its beneficial effects began to be understood on a scientific level. In addition to health and skin care, it also has various spiritual and magical uses, and because of its strong purple color, it can also be used as a dye or dye.
Resins are still considered important for spiritual purposes and are used in shamanism, Wicca, and other spiritual or ritual practices.

Instructions for use:
To light the tip of the smudge stick, hold it by the end of the handle, use a match or lighter. Light any open flames to slowly smoke the leaves. Then run the incense stick (or a feather to fan the sage stick, which is the traditional way) around the room, person or objects to channel the fragrant, purifying smoke. Compact the ashes in a heat-resistant container. (Traditional is an abalone shell, but you can also use a smudge bowl, incense burner, or even a regular plate as long as you place something underneath.) Please watch out for falling coals. Smudge sticks can be extinguished in a container of sand or water if necessary and can be reused several times.

Never leave burning sulfur unattended.
